Facebook is not recommended as a sole way of following GNOME as Facebook only shows Page posts to a small fraction of followers. To be sure that you have a chance to see all posts from GNOME on Facebook, create an Interests List by following "Add Interests..." link on the left of your timeline and add GNOME and other favourite pages to it. Then periodically check that list.
