A list of GNOME bugs that concern tabs. These have been summarised in the tab implementation review.

HIG:

  • Bug 440274 - The HIG on tabs is not user friendly, it should allow multi lines.

Galeon/Epiphany:

  • Bug 462780 – Close all but this tab?

  • Bug 300537 – new tab is not visible when ctrl-clicking link from the rightmost tab

  • Bug 83560 – Consider using close all windows instead of quit (Galeon)

  • Bug 116519 - tab width should be dynamically adjusted

Gedit:

  • Bug 547848 – gedit should not show a tab if only one document open

  • Bug 456959 – Remove custom implementation of tab reordering and dragging

  • Bug 163494 - Can't Ctrl-pageUp/pageDown to switch tabs

  • Bug 160747 - browsing tabs: ctrl-pg up, ctrl-pg dn

  • Bug 555753 - Open New tab on double clicking the empty area in tab space
