George Kraft IV, P.E. (gk4) is a Senior Software Engineer and embedded Linux Customer Architect for IBM Linux Technology Center. He was the former chairman of the Linux Standard Base and former member of the Open Accessibility workgroup. He contributed the accessibility tab to GNOME's Preferred Applications, and led IBM's contributions to GNOME accessibility. He has been a UNIX developer/contributor since 1982 and GNU/Linux developer/contributor since 1993. He earned his BS in CS and Math from Purdue University in 1987. George is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas for the field of Software Engineering.
