Welcome to gbrainy Windows port effort page.
gbrainy is a game designed for Linux but however it can run on Win32.
gbrainy installer for Windows installs the translations for the application. The language that gbrainy is used in based in your Win32 locale configuration.
Download
You can download gbrainy 0.61 Windows build from:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=221941&package_id=268141 (md5sum 268cbe9a025cd909ec2a0405ac0b9823). Size 24MB.
How to compile and build the installer
All the files and instructions that you need to compile gbrainy and create an installer on Win32 are the win32 subdirectory in the Subversion server.
Know issues
- It installs the full Mono package even if you have it already installed. The version of Mono included, 1.12, and the GTK sharp binding are the ones that work best with gbrainy at this point.
- On Windows Vista the menus are not draw properly (GTK problem)-
- The installer installs lots of libraries (70Mb), this probably can be reduced.
gbrainy does not have icon and does not include AssemblyInfo.cs
