- - Record function for embedded audio

Tomboy for Nokia TabletOS (Nokia 770, N800, N810)
- Compare my tomboy notes with someone else's using instant messaging or email
- Export all notes to PDF
- Make the Notes in the list prioritised (or make it possible to prioritise the notes, and sort by prioritisation)
[Code Snippets] using for example GtkSourceView for creating Code snippets for several Languages
- macros in notes, for example: to allow embedding the list of "What links here?" inside the note itself
- - once a macro is added to a note, it could have a frame around it to differentiate from editable text and to allow removing the macro
- Recognize links to bible passages (e.g. Genesis1:1, or Jn1:1-14). Show the bible passage on mouseover (using esword bible texts). Ability to search for all notes that link to a certain bible passage. The concept could be extended to referencing other canonical texts (e.g. law, other religious texts, or maybe even bibtex references)
Why not take advantage of the open source SWORD Project for this addin rather than the proprietary esword? http://crosswire.org/sword/index.jsp
- There need to be options for sorting notes, i.e., one should be able to click and organize notes alphabetically, and one should be able to create a notebook within a notebook (a bit like a file hierarchy).
- Thunderbird Mail Integration (DWaldoAnderson 9July2009)
- Firefox screen print cut/paste integration (DWaldoAnderson 9July2009)
You mean something like this? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/8276 . You can also use gnome-do to turn selected text from any application into a Tomboy note. --SandyArmstrong
Support for adding tags to notes (e.g., note1 - work, urgent; note2 - private, programming; ...)
This already exists in git...google a bit and you'll find screenshots and everything. Feel free to revive it as an add-in. We decided to get drop the tagging UI and use Notebooks instead. But Tomboy supports programmatic tagging so the only work is just updating the UI and packaging as an add-in. --SandyArmstrong
