We are seeking a GUI Developer with world-class intelligence, good math skills, and very strong programming skills to join our Infrastructure team. The GUI Developer will work closely with Tower’s traders to build and maintain a GUI that will track real-time trade data.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years GUI development experience
- A degree from a top college or university (undergraduate or graduate)
- Excellent programming skills
- Strong C++ skills
- An eye for details
- English fluency
- Experience with Gtk or Qt

The Remote View Client Group at VMware is part of the Enterprise Desktop unit that produces VMware View. Our group charter is to deliver a compelling and highly effective desktop interaction experience for end-users accessing their desktops remotely using VMware View. To this end, we develop both the remote display technologies and the client software optimized for remote desktop access. We are currently involved in a range of projects, including a high-profile co-development project with Teradici to develop a software version of their PC-over-IP display protocol, and the View Open Client, an LGPL-licensed open source implementation of the View client. Our client software is bundled with thin client PCs from 13 companies, totaling millions of units per year.
