This is a list of customizations LuisVilla4 has done for the current LiveCD available from tieguy.org, linked to from GnomeLiveCd. You should be able to figure out how to do these customizations from the ../HowTo. If not, please add a comment or clarify it 
installed ../ExtraPackages and updated mime/uri-handlers appropriately. OOo is still installed and default handler for powerpoint files.
removed ../UnnecessaryPackages
- put a whole bunch of marketing stuff in /etc/skel/Desktop/.
- with a dummy user named ubuntu, I arranged these files correctly and added emblems, and then copied the .nautilus/metafile/ from that user to /etc/skel/ as well. Note that the liveCD always has a CD on the desktop in the upper left hand so plan accordingly.
installed a new splash screen and background, updated gconf appropriately (see keys in the ../HowTo.)
changed the default GDM background to #2A569D to look nice behind the splash. Artist could choose a better color
- because there is a blue background, changed gconf:/desktop/gnome/interface/gtk_theme to 'Industrial' from the brown Ubuntu version.
- copied a bookmarks.rdf that Jorge Castro wrote to /etc/skel/.gnome2/epiphany/
