Hi I've been trying to figure out how to compile/install this plugin without any luck. I really want this plugin for GEdit in my EEE PC (Xandros). If anyone would like to help me please email me at sid dot bachtiar at gmail.

2010-03-21 The link shown above is broken. I can open http://www.icecrew.nl/index.php but I don't see anything there about the File Browser.

This plugin has been added to the gedit core a long time ago. You should be able to enable it in any recent (2 or 3 years old or so) gedit. You can find the source code in the gedit git repository.

2011-08-12 This seems to be a bug: The file browser pane won't show any files with some extensions like *.ini or *.md. Show hidden doesn't work either
