Rules

The rules are fairly straight forward (same as last year):

• no offsides, the forwards will need to come and defend anyway
• throw-ins will be played on the floor (ie. passed with the foot), not "thrown" in
• goal-keepers will not be allowed to drop-kick the balls (the pitches are small, and the goal keepers aren't rugby players)
• and if we get into that: dangerous play (ie. yellow cards) will be punished by a 5-minute sinbin (similar to rugby and hockey), and 2nd yellow card will be a sending off as normal

Subscription

• The pitch and ball rentals are covered by the GUADEC organisation (confirmed)
• Since we love trees, let's just bring our own colored tshirts (team colors TBA).

  • Please bring at least 2 T-Shirts/Football Jerseys of different colours. Try to avoid jerseys of multiple colours (such as Ajax, Juventus) and prefer plain colours (White, Red, Blue, Black)

  • Bring shinpads. If you don't, don't come complaining that you have bruises, or that your tibia snapped like a twig. Accidents happen. You can get adult ones for less than 10 euros/£5. No excuses.

• We'll get there by a bus, it will be waiting for us at the university at 16:00, Ali Sukru is in charge.

• We can use 3 football fields at the same time

• Teams can consist of between 7 and 10 players. 7 players minimum, 10 players are recommended.
