• Previous and current responsibilities in the GNOME project: developer on AbiWord, Gnote, libopenraw, exempi. Contributor to C++ bindings, GEGL, etc.

Why?

I would like to contribute actively to the promotion of GNOME and working with the other members of the board to enlarge the representation of GNOME in the industry and amongst users.

Also I would like to work closely with the rest of the community and the sysadmin team to see what we can do to make GNOME develpment tools infrastructures better, and see how the Foundation and its members can help to provide means to fix known issues and go forward to provide new functionalities that would help the collaborative work already being done.

My contributions have been mostly technical, and only indirectly related to GNOME, either by way of being GNOME application or components underneath GNOME that are being used.
