3.4 roadmap
The main task for 3.4 is to move us as close as possible to the (in-progress) design for the new Web core application, which will the define the look-and-feel and behavior of Epiphany from now on.
Some areas that still need to be designed are:
- Favorites/Bookmarks section of the Overview.
Queue/Read later section of the Overview (design).
- Page details dialog. Includes text encoding, page source, security information.
- Preferences/Personal details revamp.
- Save as Web Application revamp.
- UI to edit or do advanced searches in the History (do we keep the current dialog?)
- UI to edit or do advanced searches in the Bookmarks (do we keep the current dialog?)
- Detailed design for the location entry. Where is it located, what actions can be triggered from it, how does the completion look like and work.
- Fullscreen mode.
- About dialog. Is it gone? Replaced by "about:"? Can it be accessed from the application menu?
- "Pages" button in the toolbar to access the Overview. Where is it located? Leftmost button? Keyboard shortcut for it?
