How to make typeahead-find work with firefox backend

Epiphany versions < 1.8 (and other gtkmozembed embedding applications still) needs the "typeaheadfind" mozilla extensions for this. Unfortunately, it conflicts with firefox' built-in typeahead find. Here's how to fix it:

• Apply the following patch to firefox source:

  • for Firefox 1.0.x: patch from gnomebug:157435

  • for Firefox 1.5 branch (untested): patch

  • for Firefox trunk: patch

• Add "typeaheadfind" to the list of extensions to build (--enable-extensions configure options)

• Apply this patch to Epiphany's sources. (Only necessary for Epiphany 1.4.x; versions >= 1.6.0 already contain this patch.)
